    Works as advertised

    We've had this generator for about a year now. During that time, it's kicked in as expected during at least three power outages (mostly short, but one lasted a couple of hours). My only complaint is that it's louder than expected. One reason we chose this over other options is that it was supposed to be quieter, but it seems at least as loud as the Generac unit which our neighbor has. That said, it was still a better choice (better cold weather performance, better price).

    This 22kW whole house generator with the 200A transfer switch and aXis technology is a serious upgrade for anyone who wants true peace of mind and I feel like I can sleep at night knowing if anything goes out in the house this will come thru for me, excited to have this for my new build its a big plus! Its an easy set up and easy to use! I would recommend  it to all my friends and family to give it a try. Don’t forget to buy your two group 26 batteries needed for this

    I only heard I test run 1 time so far. But it was louder than they said it would be. Takes longer to start & switch over than some other models.

    Consumer Reports and installer highly recommended this generator. Clean and neat installation and overall solidly built generator. Waiting for our first storm to get understand the full value of this purchase but our peace of mind is well worth the purchase thus far. The 10 year warranty also gives us great peace of mind as well.

    Q: Will this model support 220volts, e.g. a hot tub ?

    • A: Hello, there are several factors that you would need to take into consideration when adding the Hot tub to the HSB. You want to look at the size of the home, the total number of appliances that you will be running, including the air conditioning unit, if you have one, and the fuel source that you are using. We do suggest adding a Load Management Module during installation for the hot tub, since they do require a lot of power, so you do not overload your HSB. If you have any other questions, please consult with your installing electrician or contact our HSB support team at 888-261-3653. -Thank you
