DeWalt quality – powerful and compact

DeWalt almost doesn’t need reviews because their tools speak for themselves, but this table saw still exceeded my expectations. It’s powerful, accurate, and compact enough for my garage. Easy to set up and the fence stays square. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought my saw used from a guy that used it twice. Basically new. This saw has been great. I use this saw all the time. It’s easy to use never had issues. I do a lot of house projects and this table saw has been my go to tool for all my cuts. I saw another review about the flatness not being great. I looked at mine and it’s pretty flat for a job site saw. I was surprised how flat my table saw was. Great quality reliable table saw.

Q: What finishing blade can you use with this saw and still be able to maintain the current riving

A: It all depends on the riving knife. I just got mine for a Black Friday Sale. The riving knife 0.087(2.2mm) thick. Can accept blades with min kerf of 0.094"(2.4mm) and max body thickness of 0.079"(2.0mm). The diablo blade D0840X works. Kerf is .094" and body is .063". A little tight but works. The 60 teeth version will not work. It's kerf is .079" and body is 0.55". With that said, there are many version of this saw. Mine is type 4. You can purchase a replacement riving knife for a different type of this same saw that would allow for more thin kerf options. The part number is N695948. Hope this helps.

A: Depth of cut at 45 is 1 &3/4 in . Use of Dado Blades is not recommended with the DWE7485 based on power required to drive the thicker blade.
