Love my little sander

I really like this sander, I've put it through work too. I've sanded different woods, fiberglass, plastic all kinds of nasty stuff and the dust is contained really well. Speed is perfect and not much vibration. Precision definitely with the shape and ergonomics are right

Great little mouse/detail sander

I was fortunate enough to pick this up when it was on sale even though the regular price for this item is already cheap. It’s made by Black & Decker so you know or come to expect certain quality for the product and I believe this detail sander delivers. I read the other reviews and saw that somebody was upset that it stopped working after two years but for what you pay, it does the job. If you want something that’s going to last forever or longer than you’re gonna have to pay a lot more than what you’re paying for this one. This is for the occasional use not someone who’s using it every day. I have zero complaints for this product. It worked exactly as expected, and I have no issues with it whatsoever.

Q: I love the sander but am having a hard time removing the dust cup. Any ideas?

A: I found it hard at first too, I was more scared of breaking the plastic than anything (the plastic is quite thick and strong). I pulled quite hard while wiggling it side to side. After a few times it loosened up a bit and it’s easier to pull off to clean.

A: No 547266 / BDEMS600 will not connect to a shop vac given the shape of the dust port. Having said that, the sander does come with a Dust Cannister with micro-filtration.

Q: I like the palm sanders and find lots of use for them but it is also frustrating that replacement parts are not sold locally such as the platen and pad that is easily torn when removing the sand paper where can I get these parts.

A: Yes you can purchase different GRITs of sandpaper. CTC carries: 54-7024 54-7025 54-7026 54-7023 No you cannot wet sand with it.
