Q: would these blades cut off the nosing on my stair treads?

A: This blade (sku 545503) is used for cutting wood, plastic board, and plastic, if the nosing material is wood, then the customer can use this blade. If the nosing material is metal, then we recommend using sku 0545506 (Mastercraft 1-1/4-in Wood and Metal Flush Cut Blade), 0545506 is used for cutting wood, plastics, sheet metal and non-ferrous metal.
