Slits in all bags

I've just opened a second box of the Gallon Stay Open bags, and, as in the first box, all of the bags have slits across one side just above the logo. I have to tape them shut in order to use them. They are too expensive to just throw away.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Why are the freezer bags perforated

So I had the lrg moisture control and didnt pay attention to the holes on the bag. I go through my freezer food pretty quickly and when I took the bag out, it leaked all in my fridge that's when I realized I bought the wrong bag, then I bought the lrg freezer bags quantity of 14, they too also have holes, Ziploc explain this WHY WOULD YOU HAVE A FREEZER BAG WITH HOLES THAT CANNOT HOLD LIQUID, everyone who reads this needs to buy off brands and save money because other then feeling a little thicker there is no difference between moisture control and the freezer bags from Ziploc brands, why have a freezer bag that can't hold liquid from defrosting is beyond me.

Very disappointing product (freezer bags)

I’m very disappointed in the quality of these freezer bags. I actually had a stem from some fresh spinach penetrate a hole through one today causing the liquid to leak out terribly. I will not be purchasing these bags again. Please improve the thickness of these bags to securely work with freezer items.
