Q: None of the Indian wool carpets I have purchased over the years have come with cleaning instructions. I know that "oxy" products cannot be used for wool/silk clothing . What Bissell products can be used to clean wool carpets?

- A: Hi Shadow. BISSELL formulas are good for W and WS fabrics. We do not recommend using BISSELL formula on S or X fabrics. We always recommend testing a small hidden area for color fastness. Do not use BISSELL products on velvet, silk, vinyl or leather upholstery.a year agoHelpful?
