First time buying this type

Bought these for a new light fixture with a solid metal shade. Though these work, should've purchased the 60W ones for more light since in that particular fixture all the light comes from the bottom of it. That's on me. The 40W ones (using 3 bulbs) would probably be enough in a shaded or glass fixture.
