Failed after two days

First, assembly requires you to manually push the extra wire through the stem and manhandle it out the base, otherwise you will never get it screwed together. Then when you attempt to finish the assembly with the bulb base part, it puts so much torque on the wires, it does not want to get properly seated. And when I finally did manage to get it together it worked fine for all of a day and a half. And then refused to work. Was returned. No I don’t want to buy another. Poor design. Too bad because it is a cute lamp.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Damaged Lamp

I ordered two lamps for use in a rental property. One of the lamp shades was damaged upon receipt (material coming off of metal trim). Since I ordered for delivery to a remote area returning the item and replacing it will not be possible.

Q: Is the socket ring supposed to be separate as in the picture in Step 4? Mine is attached to the lamp shade and I am wondering if it is attached upside down. When it is screwed in the shade is upside down (exposing the bulb).

A: Please note that the socket ring is twisted in the lamp holder，when you install the shade，you should take out the ring from the lamp holder, then install the shade.

Q: I have flipped the shade to cover the exposed bulb but now it jiggles and is loose every time I use it. There doesn’t seem a way to screw it in. When it is flipped over (exposing the bulb) there are threads to secure the shade to the light. Anyway to fix?

A: Install as below step, there is a socket ring to tighten the shade, please note. In general this item does not expose the bulb if the customer use the right bulb, this item use the E26 A19 bulb.

Q: Why is the cord far too long for the stem. I can not assemble because cord is far longer than stem. Cannot attach lampholder to stem and then stem to base because of excess cord. Can not pull cord through base to shorten cord in stem section.
