Based on your description of the difficulty encountered while attempting to apply the product, it would appear that you may have purchased aged product (newly purchased may not necessarily be of recent manufacture). Likewise, attempting to apply thick paste-like fillers through too narrow of a tip opening can significantly increase the amount of force required to dispense the product. We are unclear as to your commentary indicating "And the cap doesn't even have to have a pointy part to help you to pierce the tube", as the packaging for the squeeze tube does not feature an inner foil seal. As indicated on the product package label and supporting product literature: "For squeeze tubes, knead the tube prior to cutting and extruding material.", indicating that the nozzle must first be cut.
