Dangerous product

a year ago

This product is dangerous. in order to open the gate the bars slide past each other's and kids often try to run to the gate and put their fingers in. the first day our little got her fingers squeezed. It happened one more time for myself as the gate does not slide freely and when trying to pull it you have to really watch your fingers. Maybe for a dog but do not buy this gate for a child.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is this gate suitable for outdoors ?

A: Yes this is suitable for outdoors. I have 2 of them outside for 2 years now. No rust at all. The little button latch can freeze up during winter or course so I resort to using a little bungee cord to keep it closed during freezing temps.
