I now have 2 of these and they are great easy to gets grandchildren in and out if. Only downside is the clips/snaps that attaches to the car are not easy to get snapped on and off, it would be easier if they were the guck snap and release ones like on other evenflo car seats.

A: It is if it shows a green picture of an airplane on the warning label. Having said this, I wouldn't strap a kid into it on an aircraft as it's big and awkward to carry around. We have flown several times and we hold kids under 2 in our lap and my son who's 3 sits in a regular seat with the lap belt.
