Works well but could be a little better configuration for spaces that can't accommodate the extension piece. Just concerned that the bolts have to be extended to their maximum to accommodate the space.

Q: Exactly how wide does this gate go? The information given is bunk.

A: It says on the Canadian Tire page that the maximum extendable witdth is 36 inches. I have it installed in a 34 inch gap, and there's an extra 4'' extender section that I'm not using, so I would estimate it can actually reach somewhere between 36 and 38 inches.
