I bought two of these today from Canadian Tire, I was excited to get them up and installed. I removed my old one, started installing the new one as far as I could before I needed to consult the instructions, then realized that they only make this door opener so it will open a door up to 7' tall without needing an extension kit. I figured no big deal, another $50 dollars and I'll have everything I'll need... Then to my surprise I see the kit to make it work on an 8' door is $150! I've got 8 Chamberlain openers now and I'm sickened with how much they gouge their customers, they don't even include light bulbs or door locks with this opener.

No, I do not recommend this product.
