Des tapis impeccables, des planchers exempts résidus, une facilité d’utilisation dans toutes circonstances, quoi demander de plus? Je n’aurais jamais cru pouvoir passer l’aspirateur dans le coin de mes lapins sans avoir à passer le balais avant pour enlever le plus gros. Elle aspire le foin et le poil sans broncher. Je l’ai testée là où d’autres ont échoué lamentablement (même les aspirateurs d’atelier), et elle est incroyable. Le fil est assez facile à gérer, même pour faire un petit coup vite dans un espace. Les seuls points moins positifs: Le balais-brosse est assez épais, donc difficile de passer sous les meubles. Le tuyau est court; quand on veut utiliser la poignée manuellement, il faut garder le contenant super proche. Il est tellement puissant qu’il aspire les tapis moins épais. On peux la passer seulement sur les tapis plus rigides.

Finicky vacuum

Randomly stops sucking, randomly stops spinning, the detection system just does not work well in my house, maybe it is the type of carpets, maybe the designs are throwing off the sensor, I just do not know. I will buy a more basic vacuum next time as the auto adjusting sensor is simply problematic and not needed. If I did not toss the box I would have returned it.

Too hard too handle

I bought this Shark Power Detect in January 2026. I have owned Sharks for many years, but I am not happy with this one. It has tore up multiple pieces of my furniture. When I use the hose with the tools I have to keep my foot on the vacuum to hold it down. I learned this trick the hard way. After using it the first couple of months while using the hose. When it sucks to something by accident. It will pull the vacuum over. Really hard and quick, before you can even react . I wish I had bought another Shark Rotator instead. .

No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent with a few minor flaws

Super powerful vacuum and overall very happy with it. I only gave it 4 stars for a few minor reasons: 1) you can't turn the brush rollers off when the vacuum is on. This is a problem on thinner rugs like my washable one. I'm having to use a stick vacuum on that particular rug. My previous shark upright let me turn off the brush rollers, which came in handy for situations like this. 2) There is no smaller powerhead to use for furniture or stairs. Again, I had one for my old Shark upright and used it a lot as we have dogs and cats. The lack of a smaller powerhead also makes it very awkward to vacuum carpeted stairs with the vacuum. So, overall very good especially on wall to wall carpet. In addition, the lights are fantastic and show all the hair and debris.

Overheats in 10 minutes

This machine is a great design but I can't recommend it. Every time I use it, it overheats after just one room. I have to wait for it to cool down before I can continue. It's going to take 2 hours to fully vacuum at this rate. I love these products. They are usually thoughtfully designed. This one has to go back.
