The new version is so quiet! Still works great, though but a little disappointed that the collection barrel is smaller.

Too small

I bought this Dyson to replace one that I’ve used almost daily for years, it works well, it’s quieter than my previous V10 Dyson, but the collection cup is too small, it holds a quarter of what my V10 did. I will probably put this V9 in my Motorhome, it’s just not practical for a home with a pet.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Amazing home much “stuff” is on your floors and rugs. Cleans well.op feature is nice too. Doesn’t soak your floors but cleans

some good features, but suction isn't the best

I love the lightness and how easy it is to maneuvre with the swivel head. Unfortunately the suction isn't as good as it could be and when I pull the vac back dirt that was sucked up falls back on the floor and it takes several attempts to pick it all up again. Perhaps there is a trick to the vacuuming technique, but there should not be such difficulties with a machine that costs so much.

Q: I purchased a Dyson V9 from Canadian Tire just before Christmas. I no longer have the receipt of the box it came in. I'm not a all happy with this product. A big waste of money!! Every time I use it, the signal for cleaning the filter comes on???

A: I had the same problem and went directly to Dyson. They had me ship the vac back but keep the filter and then they shipped a new one so I would have 2 filters. Can u believe it??? But they paid for shipping too. Hope that helps. Weird tho. Ask if they can get the filter for yours first and if they can’t then this is what they’ll do. They will definitely try to please you.
