I have two of these. I use one to heat a 24x24 garage with 10 foot ceilings in Saskatoon. I leave it on the lowest setting and it seems to keep the garage from freezing until the temp outside is colder than -30c. The coldest it was in the garage is -6 on the coldest day. It is costing me about $50 in electricy a month more to do this. I have had no issues with this heater of this purpose. I have a 2nd one that I use in a cool basement. It works great but the switch for the heat level broke. I used my 3d printer to print a new one. It would be cool if companies made replacement parts files available

It takes a lot of power, cannot have it on and blowdry my hair without the breaker shutting down. The heat generated is not much and takes longer than expected to warm up a small room

A: Shuts off when reaches heat setting. When the unit reaches extremely high temperatures the heaters thermal fuse will shut off permanently for safety. Best not to leave unattended, like most electrical devices.

A: It says 3 feet clearance, but don't waste your money on this heater. It won't warm anything up more than 1 foot away!

A: It does not give specific temperature given that it works by sensing the temperature of the space it is in. There are only 4 settings and that includes OFF. The HI setting (double flame far right) has the highest intensity and will heat up fast. The lower setting (single flame) is used once the room is comfortable and then the temperature dial on the right would be dialed back until the heater shuts off. You have now set the temperature you want the heater to maintain in that room.

A: Honestly, I wouldn't be as concerned with the airflow as much as the heat output. With 120v heaters there is a significant trade off between airflow and heat produced. I've had higher airflow heaters, but the element can't keep up with the fan, and precious available watts are used up pushing lukewarm air around!
