Compact size but big on features!

This is a nice compact fryer with the basket being almost as big as my larger T-Fal fryer. The fryer stores nicely on a shelf or in a cupboard. The only real difference in the two fryers is the larger T-Fal fryer has a drain/filter system and removeable plastic oil storage container where this compact one requires the tank to be removed (easy to do) and drain and filter into a separate container. Really not an issue for me! Love it!

Deep fryer shuts off and can't get back on

Very disappointed in this product . Have had a t Fal deep fryer for years.. It died so I decided to buy this one.. wish I hadn't. I have had 2 now. The first one shut off after I did a 4 minute fry and couldn't get i to come back on. Got a second one and after a coupld fries thawere ok, this one ddte same. I had it turned on and at the minimum oil level.. I put what I considered to be a sml amount of potatos in n it boiled over.. even as I was ladling hot oil out and into a pot . Cleaned up somewhat but once again no go. tried 3 plugs. Oh yeah.. cord WAY TOO short ...
