- A: I have three of these in different rooms, ranging in size from 150 sq ft bedroom, 235 sq ft office, and 400 sq ft family room. The unit may be undersized for that last room, but it seems to work fine there. I have no idea of the volume of air per hour, just that between the three of them throughout the house they seem to do a good job. I've only had to change the main HEPA filters once per year and the pre-filters twice a year.3 years agoHelpful?

I generally don’t have breathing issues but am allergic to things like cedar and was experiencing headaches and coughing. I really noticed an improvement after buying this air purifier. The B pre-filter is made for a specific shape and style of tower air purifier. Q: can the filter be vacumed or must replaced? the specification says it has permanent filter, but also in Q&A it says need to replace filter, I'm confused.

- A: You have to replace the carbon filter, and they are not very expensive. The other filter you just wash. And the two filters inside you take out and clean with vacuum or q tips. I'll know when it comes time to clean it. If not you can buy them also at CTC I think. Not very expensive10 years agoHelpful?
