Does not properly seal even just moist food

a month ago
The liquid block does not work. Most every time I try and seal even just a semi moist food like a raw chicken breast that I dabbed dry with a paper towel interferes with the sealing process. The liquid or dampness gets pulled into the seal area and interferes making a proper seal. I have to try and wipe the bag dry and try and reseal it numerous times. If I cannot get a proper seal, I have to put the food/meat into the freezer to freeze it just enough that the liquid freezes. Half the time I just start with putting the food into the freezer. Forget about trying to seal something that is straight liquid.

Practical, reasonable, saves me some money.

These are extra long to make space for the padding. The padding works great at keeping liquid from escaping the bag when sealing. Since I purchase packages of meat in bulk, these are great for repacking the meat into smaller portions I can label and date them so that I reduce wasted food..
