I cannot figure out exactly how to place the can on this opener. Sometimes I get it right and the can is then opened. Most of the time something goes wrong (and I can't figure out what it is) and it doesn't open the can.

Opens Cans Only When it Wants to

I bought this and tried to open a can with it. It didn't automatically latch onto the can and start to open it as the advertisement says. It is not obvious where exactly the can should be placed for it to start opening it. Sometimes it did but most of the time it didn't. Very frustrating and, as far as I'm concerned, this can opener is worthless.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This can opener can’t open a can! I have had this for months. Every time I try and put any size can up to it, it doesn’t attach or pierce the can. It’s always when I’m in the middle of cooking so it is sooo frustrating!!!

Only able to open cans half the time

I hate this can opener. I have had it less than a year. About half the time I try using it I struggle getting it to open a can. It seems hit or miss as it might open a can only about half the time. I think there must be an angle that is perfect and I just can't find it. One reason I bought this style was because the cutting element was removable, but now I regret that decision. Can anyone give me a hint on the right angle before I donate it. This is so frustrating.

This opener is difficult to use. If you don’t hit the exact sweet spot for the can to be gripped, the can drops off. I would not buy it again.
