Kitchenaid says 60 days free returns. Until you read the fine print. First they sent me a used one then one that doesn't work well. Crap company.

Problems with dough hook

The mixer is good but I have had to buy a dough guard to prevent the dough from climbing up the dough hook. And the white plastic dough hook is delaminating.

A: it's quite heavy (20 lbs), but that's because it's all metal - no plastic parts so it's very durable. but you can just leave it on your counter, cuz you will use it practically everyday, and these days, you can buy it in almost any color to match your decor
