Poor quality

I have purchased two doors already and now I need to buy another one as the plastic on the outside of the door breaks and now for the second time I am missing the outside flap. Because the plastic is broke, its not just a matter or ordering a new flap. It very frustrating. And that was when it was really cold so my house felt the wind and snow. Its not the greatest in the first place to keep out the cold. I wish there was something the company could do to remedy this problem.

Though damage to the hinge area is not common when the door is used as intended, in our experience hinge damage can occur if the door is being used with force/at a run, and/or if it is installed a bit too low for the adult shoulder height of the tallest dog using the door. These aspects put strain on the hinges which will damage them over time, particularly in colder weather.

Great, until it got cold. The screws pulled through on the inside. The flap holder on the outside broke clean off a few hrs later. They really arent built for a home that has 3 dogs, who are worse than our kids, running in and out all day and night long. Only had for a year.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Frame broke at -45 windchill

Extreme weather door good for up to -100.....today in Wisconsin it's about -20 and -45 windchill....we have a non aggressive 60 lbs. Dog ....she walked through door gently for morning potty ...and the flap came with her ..the frame of door cracked off ...work good for 2 years....but it's not good for -100 ......just so u know...... thanks
