Bought this rack on clearance with a fantastic discount. 180lb rating was exceptional for my two E bikes. Assembled and mounted on my truck yesterday and was totally blown away by the ease of assembly and pretty decent quality. Was originally concerned about other negitive reviews but I have no concerns of my own. Very stable and fold down feature is nice. Sure glad I bought it.

Very disappointing

The hitch goes in nice and tight so no sideways wobble but there is so much play forward and backward that the hitch moves around like crazy. The rubber straps are so stiff that you can get them over the anchor nubs. The hinge rivets protrude so much that they gouge the metal tube part. Also I was told that once you install it you can't return it.

Effectivement, se fier aux autres commentaires qui expliquent correctement le montage à faire (utiliser les deux grosses rondelles de part et d'autre du support à vélo, pas seulement une rondelle). Ne pas se fier au mode d'emploi, qui est très TRÈS mal écrit et illustré, cela autant en français qu'en anglais. Une fois le rack bien installé, il est solide, les vélos s'installent bien (les languettes de caoutchouc pour attacher les vélos sont dures à attacher au rack à l'installation, mais se manipulent bien par la suite) et le support ne fait aucun bruit en roulant. Notre coffre à hayon s'ouvre facilement, sans même avoir à incliner le rack et même avec les vélos installés sur le support.

A: Ceci est notre porte vélo #2 du même modèle CCM. Le premier a été utilisé 7-8 ans, on l'a vendu en pensant acheter un autre plus chère et léger etc. mais finalement les prix sont très haut et nous avons décidé de racheter le même porte vélo vu qu'on était content. Le premier a commencé juste de bouger un peu plus et n'était plus droit (se penchait en arrière et les vélos descendaient un peu, mais sinon très bonne qualité).
