Après avoir vu le descriptif du produit, je m’attendais à voir l’eau vraiment perler sur le toit de ma décapotable. J’ai suivi les instructions à la lettre et ça donne un résultat correct tout au plus. Pour 4X$ c’est dispendieux pour les résultats obtenus.

A little disappointed

Since the Hydrothread Ceramic Fabric Protectant and Stain product could be used on car interiors, I tried it on my golf shoes and was disappointed. The water did not bead off and after drying, there were water stains. I'll try one more time and see if three appplications work.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: HydroThread brings long-lasting ceramic HydroTechnology to fabric convertible tops, interior textiles, carpets, and other fabrics. It forms a super-hydrophobic SiO2 barrier that causes liquids to bead up and hover on the surface without penetrating the underlying fibers. Once treated, fabrics have an extremely low surface tension, causing the beads to roll right off the surface. This makes your fabrics super easy to clean and helps prevent staining from any accidental spills.
