Product Details

A structural adhesive designed for general purpose bonding of a wide variety of material such as hard and soft plastics to specified surfaces. Forms a tough, durable bond to most plastics, composites, ceramics and wood in any combination. Fast curing product with gelling of mixed adhesive in 5 – 6 minutes and fixturing in 9 – 10 minutes. NOTE: Will not bond most polyethylene or polypropylene plastics. Bonds hard and soft plastics to specified surfaces. Requires no primers, sets in five minutes at room temperature. Cream appearance. Gap filling to 0.125". Water resistant and good chemical resistance. Temperature range -60°F to 250°F (-51°C to 121°C). Permanent strength up to 3500 PSI.

Works well, adhesion is better than expected, BUT…

This is great on plastics, bumpers, etc. Wouldn’t use it on toys, because it’s STINKY!! Need to use if outside or under a vent hood because it smells like PVC glue, and will give you an instant headache. That’s probably why the bond is so good. I sometimes use it with fibreglass Matt for plastic car parts. Sets fast. But I do like it.

J'ai utilisé cette colle pour réparer deux contenants de 64 onces des mélangeurs Ninja de ma blonde et de ma fille. J'ai recollé la boite d'engrenage sous le contenant dont seulement 2 des 4 vis le retenait; sur l'autre la petite languette du couvercle qui déverrouille le système de sécurité lorsqu'on le ferme. L'angle de la languette n'est pas parfaite mais les deux réparations fonctionnent parfaitement. Ça colle l'acrylique à merveille mais préparez bien votre scénario de collage et de mise en place car la colle fige rapidement.

Q: Once dry, would this product be safe around pets? Specifically as a binder for an acrylic cage extensions?

  • A: Hello Ells, due to the nature of this product and the warning on the back of the package regarding swallowing while taking into consideration how pets have a tendency to chew on items it is recommended not to use around pets. Thank you

Q: Can this product set in cold weather or does it need warmth

  • A: This product sets in 5 minutes at room temperature. Using this product in cooler environment will cause an extended cure time. If used in a cooler environment and product does not fully cure and remains in "gelling" state move to room temperature to fully cure.
