A: There was running change on the battery for 037-9460 in 2013. from 2012-6-15 to 2013-7-29, the battery is Ni-MH battery(3.6V 1000mA). From 2013-7-30 to now, the battery is lithium battery(3.7V 1300mA). Customer can refer to the manual to tell which version the item is and what kind of battery is for the product.

Q: Will my 037-9460-4 Cordless LED Worklight be damaged if left on charger? Once the 037-9460-4 Cordless LED Worklight charge indicator has turned from red to green how much time do I have to disconnect it from the charger before it damages the battery?

A: I checked and when the green light goes off, it only uses power corresponding to the LED being on. I suspect they use a charger chip that stops charging when the battery is full.

Q: I was reading on the instructions to keep the light away from computer products because of the strong magnet on this light. Is this safe to hang under the hood where the cars computer is located somewhere? I wouldn't want to erase the memory there. Or is that car computer protected from magnets?

A: i think your Electronic Control Unit (ECU) dosent have hard drive so it won't affect it. but in your computer the hard drive platter made of aluminum and other element and magnetic layers.

A: The product number 51017 means the product was produced in 2017. The charger/adapter is: Input: 120V, output: 6V 300mA. Pls find the adatper with 6V output to charge it.

Q: After using forabout 2 years, the charging LED blinking red when I pluged in the charger. It still light up as I have already fully charge last time. But don't now whether it can be charge again? What's wrong?

A: You can continue use the light - when the battery is almost used up, recharge the light again. Normally the LED should display the red light on when charging, when fully charged it will change to green LED. If the LED is still blinking when charging, the charging connector could have a poor contact after two years of using. If the light can charge in, just ignore it and continue to use and charge.

A: The output of the adaptor is be 6V. Because the rated charging current is 300mA, it’s best if the adaptor charging current is approximately 500mA (0.5A).
