Not worth the money

On our second replacement cover, poor quality, and it won’t last. Extremely disappointing, less than 10 months old, and already torn to shreds, just like our first one. For the money, it could be a lot better, especially on the corners. Assembled properly, and we have taken very good care of it, but unfortunately, this seems to be common with these shelters.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't buy poor poor quality

I have purchased several replacement covers don't don't buy, very poor quality, my newest one is 10 Months old, already has pin holes and deteriorating, usually in 1 1/2 yr it's in pieces should have to rp every 2 years

The item is of good quality and functions as advertised. However, I only give one star due to the service provided by Canadian Tire. I went to the Okotoks store to order a replacement and was told that I could only do so on line. So I return home to do so. Once the order is placed, I find that I can go in right away and pick up the shelter at the store I was just at. It was there all along It makes no sense to me how their system could be set up like this. As I live away from town this system caused great inconvenience to me.

Q: An older answer said this was a 7.5 oz fabric whereas Shelter Logic website says there is a Heavy Duty 14.5 oz. PVC and an Ultra Duty 21.5 oz. PVC fabric replacement cover. Which??

A: If you are in snow country or get high winds the lighter fabric does not stand up. Ours has started to tear in just one season.

A: The cover fits fine but if it is not set up in a place that wind can hit it or a heavy snow fall it rips. Would be nice if it was a couple gauges heavier. New one ripped already

Q: Is this good for all winter to have snow accumulated on top of it or around the shelter or will have to take care of snow removing after every snow fall?

A: Depends how much snow you get. I reside in Northern Ontario and have been using these shelters, year-round for over 10 years. I suggest removing snow after each snowfall. I use a light floor sweeper to remove the snow. The tarp usually last about 2-3 years of year-round use.

Q: from where do you measure ? post to post at bottom? or from the top where it comes down the side need to know how to measure it right top of post is 11 feet bottom of post is 11foot 6 buying a 12x20x8 foot replacement cover will that fi my frame?
