During a period where I had lower back pain I got tired of stuffing rolled t-shirt/towel etc in the lumbar region and my built in seat support was not enough. This did the trick! I just place it on seat for drive home from store and loved it so then installed the straps. Even now that back issue is infrequent it will stay there. A must have for long summer drives for sure
