I have been buying these cushions regularly over the years for use during the summer at sporting events. This time I had to return them as they were so thin without any padding whatsoever. I might as well have put a piece of newspaper on the bleachers to sit on. Absolute garbage.

Q: From the picture and the gel seat itself, why would the gel grids be open at the top instead of closed like the bottom?
