The Certified High Temperature Wheel Bearing Grease, 400-g, is formulated to meet the demanding ASTM D4950 service classification required for severe-duty wheel bearing and chassis lubrication. The premium high-temperature wheel bearing grease provides superior protection for automotive and truck applications where temperatures reach the boiling point. Its lithium complex formula fortifies bearings and moving parts against wear, corrosion, and oxidation. Water-resistant and tenacious, this grease clings to metal surfaces even in high-heat and high-pressure environments. Ideal for fifth wheels, wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rods, and U-joints on trucks, trailers, buses, and heavy equipment, it delivers high performance across a wide operating range. Its extreme pressure protection and anti-wear additives, also make it a versatile choice for general lubrication on utility trailers, farm implements, and industrial equipment. When the job demands grease that won’t break down or wash out under grueling conditions, this wheel-bearing grease is the perfect choice for expert tradespeople and fleet technicians. I have used this grease tube before and satisfied with the product. The instructions printed on the tube with an arrow showing the way to install into the grease gun are confusing. Should have written "The metal ring must be at the front end of the gun"

A: Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the use of this grease in CV joints, as CV boots require compatibility testing when changing greases. We do however, offer a wide selection of greases to select from which may suit your needs like MotoMaster Wheel Bearing and Chassis Grease. Thanks again for shopping at Canadian Tire!
