A: In response to your question shown below, Haynes manual #24048 shows how to check and replace the fuel level sending unit in Chapter 4, Section 8. This manual covers 1995 through 2001 models of the Chevrolet Lumina, but does not include information specific to supercharged models.

Q: Does this manual cover the Monte Carlo SS 3.8L The cover specifies Monte Carlo, but doesn't say if it covers both the 3.4L engine and the 3.8L engine

A: No, the supercharged 3.8L V6 used in the Monte Carlo SS is not covered in Manual 24048; however, the manual can be used for other information that is not specfic to the supercharger and related components (i.e. the 3.8L engine is covered in the non-supercharged form).
