I Like Your SS Band Clams Makes Solid Repair On Same Size Pipe But What I Think Would Be Great Game Changer If You Would Supply SS Band Clams With Step Up Size On The One Side Which Is What Lot DYO Repairs Are Coupling Two Size Pipes Which Standard Clam Hasn't The Solid Integrity As Band Clams !

If you need a wide band clamp for you exhaust pipe on your vehicle, this is a good option. Pick a size slightly smaller than the diameter of your pipe size and it will secure it nice and tight. Great for joints that won't take a traditional u-bolt clamp. I was concerned about the clamp width, but it worked out ok.

Q: How small of a pipe can the 2.50" clamp? The info said up to 2.50" but how small will it go? I have 2.25" pipe.

A: As I stated earlier. To fit a 2.25" pipe, you would need the 2" clamp, as they don't stock a 2.25" clamp.

Q: How wide is this clamp? I assume the best plan would be to center the band so that equal amounts of the two pipe are clamped. Gary

A: This clamp has a width of 3" (76.2 mm). For proper installation, place the clamp in the middle of the connection. Additional installation guidance can be found on the product packaging.
