Not what it used to be.

Products are great for the majority of my purchases. I have cut back on purchasing at CTC tho because of the annoyance of the self checkouts. Hardly ever staff on a register. I realize your trying to eliminate as many staff as possible to increase your profits but it affect my purchasing experience so I’ve going elsewhere when I can.

I bought this unit approximately a month ago and required it to start a diesel 2500 truck. Even straight out of the box the unit was charged and once connected the truck fired right up with ease with regards to these above reviews placed by other people, I’m gonna guess that the product was not the issue and might be the brain capacity of the user all in all I would recommend this product.

Likely great product, just too heavy for me

I’m sure this a great booster but I have some mobility issues right now and it too heavy for me. It’s a pro version and says 80 fast boosts on one charge, which sounded great. I didn’t charge and try it, will like buy a smaller version. It’s too bad because I bought it on sale and got 30x the points

Q: What are the right adapters? Especially for the 12v option for charging.

  • A: The GB150 comes with a 12V Male Adapter (and 12V charge cable) for charging via the 12V auxiliary port in your vehicle. This adapter can be purchased separately from the GB150 as part of an accessory set along with the 12V Female Adapter (used for powering 12V devices from the GB150) and the 12V charge cable. The accessory set is part number GBC010.

Q: Would this be good for boosting a dead dump trailer? Typically takes 30-60 seconds to get the dump box fully up.

Q: Can a 120 V transformer be connected to create to 120 V power pack?

  • A: For safety sake, we would not ever recommend connecting the boosting clamps to a power inverter's input terminals, however, you could plug a small "cigarette plug style" power inverter into the 12V accessory included with the GB150. Maximum output would be around 180W as the 12V output is rated 15A.
