Defective design

Bought this last summer for the foot of our driveway. It is in full sun most of the day. Doesn’t charge at all on cloudy days. Now that it’s winter, it doesn’t light about 90% of the time.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Ne fonctionne pas à long terme.

j’ai acheté ce produit en juin 2019. Il n’a pas fonctionné de l’hiver et en mai il a complètement cessé de fonctionner. J’ai acheté des batteries solaires neuves et ça a fonctionné seulement une journée. Les panneaux solaires ne rechargent pas les batteries.

Pas durable

Acheté en juillet 2019, rendu janvier 2020 fonctionne parfois et depuis avril 2020 ne fonctionne pas du tout. Le fini aussi s'est dégradé beaucoup. J'ai nettoyer souvent les capteurs solaire pour voir si c'était de la saleté qui était le problème, mais ça rien changé.

These lamps are beautiful, provide light well into the night, even on cloudy days. The planter is a very nice feature and provides stability for the lamp post. Anytime we have had questions, the customer service has been outstanding. Would highly recommend this product.

A: Replacement parts site does not have this lantern head (as of May '19 anyway). Also appears to be in USD and a similar lantern head costs more than a whole new light.

A: Yes, you can remove the top pole and assemble the lantern to the middle post, making the lamp about 17” shorter.

Q: I want to screw this on to a retaining wall that is made out of 6 inch wide wood beams. Is the base without the flower basket going to fit or will it overhang.

Q: I purchased this unit last June. It worked fine up until a month ago. When I replace the batteries the light turns on but will not turn off during daylight. I tried navigating the website but was unable to find what I was looking for. Any suggestions?

Q: Is the lantern head interchangeable? The replacement parts website does NOT have this lantern head. Also is in USD and with shipping, similar one costs *more than a whole new light*.

A: We have both the bronze and black head in stock on our parts website. The customer is correct about the shipping being costly though, as we ship parts from TX. When products are under warranty, we of course cover the shipping costs.

Q: Any suggestion on the amount of weight that needs to be in the planter so that it doesn't tip over? Just put it together and the instructions don't mention anything.
