    Nice ambiance with gel fuel

Works very well. Produces a nice size flame and very safe. Because it's a gel if it's tipped over it nothing really falls out. I got the canvas gel fuel holder for the table and it looks wonderful

Q: Does anyone experience problems relighting the gel fuel citronella cans? If we put ours out for whatever reason, and try to relight it, they NEVER relight  So much gel left over, such a waste

    2 Answers
    • A: The best thing to do is to use these when you plan on sitting out for 3 hours and use the full can.  You are correct they are very difficult to “re-light” after being used and the gel has solidified.  It can be done, but requires persistent heat with a lighter.

    • A: The height is approximately 4 inches. Both gel can fuels are great. It just depends if you like the citronella scent or not.

Q: Is this the same type of product that was recalled by the CPSC in 2011/2012?

    1 Answer
    • A: No it is not the same type of product. The recall was on a liquid pourable fuel that allowed the user to refill the canister. This refillable product created a danger because users had tried refilling the canister while the fuel was still going and it flashed back along the product coming out of the bottle. Our fuel is a gelled type of fuel in a can that is one time only use.
