Outdoor Edge knife/spear kit disappointment…

The knife is nicely shaped with very good quality steel, with a small amount of paracord. The spear plastic attachment appears to be strong plastic and seems to accommodate the knife when the cord is removed from the handle of the knife. However , the end-cap compass does not work whatsoever, which is disappointing. Would have been a good idea to have instructions on how to rewrap the handle.

I mounted the end of a broom handle to the top of a walking stick and strapped this knife to the stick. Will take it when hiking in the bush. Works really good, takes less than 10 seconds to attach it onto the stick
