About as effective at chopping as a lead pipe

If you end up on a deserted island and all you have is this, your better off trying to karate chop your firewood. Although, me and my cousin had a blast trying to break it, And one thing I have to give Outbound credit for is how durable this thing is. We hit everything from trees, to bricks and the thing only broke when we hit it with a pickaxe, and even then it took around 5 whacks. If your looking for something to chop effectively, look elsewhere. If you want something to try and break, this is the thing for you.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Fare for price

For the price you pay I've found this tool works quite well. I carved a wooden replacement handle as I found the plastic one it came with cheap. Holds an edge well and stays sharp.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    decent steel low quaility

the handle and sheath are both terrible, 7 "screws" on the handle are fake so its only held together with 3 screws. the sheath its self is ok the problem is with the strap even when pulled extremely tight can slip and expose several inches of blade. its best feature is the price its cheap tempered spring steel perfect for trying your hand at modifying knives without the worry of wasting a lot of money

No, I do not recommend this product.
