Horrifically cheap construction on the magnifier

Terrible construction. Less than 10 hours on the scope and the magnifier adjust is jammed.

    Great for the price

Nicely build. Can easily see my .22LR holes in paper target at about 15m, even in poor light. Works exactly as expected. Got it 40% off.

    Decent entry level scope

Bought this on CT's 1/2 price sale. I used it at the range on the 40m and 100m distances. Can easily see .22LR shots at 40m with about 25-30x zoom. Used a visi target on the 100m at 45x zoom and can easily see those shots too. I didn't use a paper target on the 100m so can't speak on that. I didn't use the small table top tripod that's included at the range, but tested at home and it seems to be really stable. The angled viewfinder is nice, especially for the range I was at as they have walls that prevent standup shooting. The angled lens allows viewing under that. The focus and zoom knobs are nice and firm. The only con I have with this is that the eye relief with safety glasses isn't the best. It is doable though. I'd say that it is a great entry level scope. Try to get it on sale.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: What mounting thread does this scope use? I would like to mount this scope on a different, taller, tripod so I would need to know the thread before purchasing this product.

    1 Answer
    • A: The Outbound spotting scopes have a same mounting thread which is 1/4-20 standard connection/thread. This thread is adaptable for most of the cameras and spotting scopes.
