Q: Should the tube detach from the valve and the bladder for cleaning? I can’t get it apart. If not, how do I clean the tube?
3 years agoA: I was able to remove the tube buy running it (where it attaches to the barbed fitting/valve) under hot water to soften the plastic. Then work it off the valve buy wiggling it back and forth. After cleaning the tube, reverse this procedure to reattach.

Q: I just bought the Outbound Replacement Bladder, 2-L. How do I get rid of toxic plastic smell? I tried washing it with dish soap but that didn't help much. Thanks.
6 years agoA: All materials meet environmental and human consumption standards and therefore present no harmful impact. You should feel safe to use the bladder without any issues. Suggested method to remove odor: 1. Wash the bladder with soda water 2. Then leave the bladder to dry in a ventilated area This should remove the odor you refer to.
