Great blender-terrible aftermarket product support

Purchased this blender in Jan 2023 and have used it pretty much every day since then. It is powerful, and blends/crushes/chops everything I put into it thoroughly. However, my glass jar got a chip and now searching for a replacement I've found that there are NO genuine Oster parts available for this anywhere in Canada. Not the jar, the blade, the base, the seal or cover. Nothing. If anything goes wrong with your blender after you buy it, it becomes garbage.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I received this for a Christmas present last year and have only been able to use 6 or 7 times. The bottoms leaks and then you cannot open it . I have to wait for my son to come over or bang it out.

Works good but loud

Bought this a couple of years ago. It's used often, sometimes daily for shakes. It does work well pulverizing frozen strawberries and the like. The only drawbacks are that the bearing in the cutting blades started leaking early on and now it is broken (blades spin freely). Secondly, it is loud so we moved it into the garage.
Yes, I recommend this product.
