Great for a few years but then I discovered this
a year ago
So I bought this a few years ago and it's been fine, use it almost daily and no problems. My only complaint was that it was always very MESSY.. there are always grounds all over the place no matter how careful I am. Today I tried to clean it and I noticed grounds were coming out of the bottom somewhere, so I undid all the screws and found half a pound of ground coffee INSIDE the machine itself (not the container where they should be), all packed around the electronics! This doesn't seem right! I am kind of worried this will happen again and is it safe to have coffee grounds all packed around the electrical components? fire hazard?
No, I do not recommend this product.

We have had 2 of these grinders; the first died within a year and was replaced free of charge by Oster. The second lasted approx 5 years. I recently noticed that a significant amount of coffee grounds were coming out of the aeration holes at the bottom of the machine. I opened it up and was shocked that the cavity with the electrical was full of grinds!! We are lucky we did not have a fire. Once I reassembled it no longer worked (probably for the best). Overall it lasted a long while for us but would not recommend.

Do not buy

My Burr Mill just filled up inside the electronics area with grinds just like the person L...12345 Who posted the pics of this. The grinding chamber actually wears away from the beans and develops a hole. WOW !

The base of the machine will siphon off grinds and fill to the point it won't work anymore.
