Got one with dim display

The one I bought had a display so dim you had to turn off the kitchen lights to see any of the display. There is no way to adjust brightness. I returned it the next day. This is a shame as my cousin bought this exact model several years ago and I really liked using it when visiting, hence why I bought this one. But it was unusable in normal lighting if you wanted to see any settings or buttons. I'm not the only purchaser to have seen this lately. If Oster fixes the display problem, I'd buy the new model tomorrow.

Enjoyed until now

I have enjoyed the toaster. Has worked well for the first year. And now the left center toasting elements stopped working. Wishing it would have lasted longer. Though I have no issues with the lights on it. Otherwise works great. But left is unusable due to the issue.

The Oster® 4-Slice Touchscreen Toaster should be illuminated (please refer to the photo on our website). Once the Toast Lever returns to the up position, the indicator lights will turn off. Please note that if the toaster cycle is not started or a selection is not made within 30 seconds, the unit will return to an idle state. Also, two minutes after the last cooking cycle, the unit will return to its idle state. We hope this helps. Have a good day!
