This product is registered to control sweet and grease-eating ants only. Ants take the bait back to the colony and this should kill the entire colony. However, a new colony can quickly move in to an area.

Not impressed, got more ants and they didn’t die

Did not like these. I was getting ants in my bathroom, once I got these and installed them, I was getting SOO many more ants and they weren’t dying. Since removing them, I have many less

Ortho Ant B Gon Max Ant Killer is designed to target sweet and grease-eating ants. Place the baits directly along the ant trails. The ants will take the bait back to their colony, which should eliminate the entire colony. Keep in mind that new ant colonies can sometimes move into an area quickly. If you're using the product outdoors, remember that exposure to rain can reduce how long the bait lasts. We're here to help you every step of the way.

Q: These are for the out doors but within 5 minutes a squirrel had already taken 1. Will this kill the squirrel?

A: Ortho Ant B Gon MAX Indoor/Outdoor Ant Traps are closed units. An animal would need to digest the entire canister to get the chemical bait within. We recommend that the traps be placed in spots inaccessible to children and animals.

Q: How long do I have to leave them out for? I thought the traffic had stopped after 4 days. I took them away and saw a few more.

A: Leave the Ortho Ant B Gon MAX Indoor/Outdoor Ant Traps out for as long as you see activity, the bait is effective for a minimum 2 - 3 months.

Q: We have cats, will these be safe in our home. We also have a paraoh ant infestation. Will this type of trap work on these types of ants?

Q: I have 4 traps out and the ants are not touching the traps...they are going around them. It's been 2 days since I laid the traps out. Is this normal?
