Questions
Q: 2015 Honda Accord with V-6. The ad states "check battery box before installing". Why and what am I supposed to see or perhaps check?
a year agoA: Fair question. We're not quite sure why Optima has included this note in our catalogue listing when their own website has no such message. This battery does fit your Accord, but will be shorter than the original size (Group 24F) so will require you use the included height adaptor.

A: If you go to Optima's website they have a look up tool, it says that your truck takes the YELLOWTOP® DH6. Which happens to be the same as my CTS.

A: Verify the engine size cause online, they say that your engine size is a 3.5 litre engine. If it is a 3.5, then yes it will fit

Q: HOW LONG CAN I RUN 45WATTS FOR?? HOW LONG CAN I RUN 45 WATTS FOR ON THIS BATTERY WITHOUT THE IGNITION ON FOR??? ITS A 12V COOLER.

A: It does depend on which battery you use but most important is the type of cooler you have and the ambient temperature where you use the cooler. Cheap 12volt cooler runs, like mentioned 6 or 7 hours but if you invest in top line cooler like my Engle cooler/freezer on low cool I have camped 4 days without starting the vehicle and still had juice to start my Wrangler. Have now upgraded to two battery system with the main battery to motomaster eliminator AGM 1750 crank amps and expect to spend 3 weeks off grid in Arizona desert this spring. Run fridge, small led lights, charge I-pad and phones and up to 4 camera and video batteries. Also small compressor to air up tires and or run my winch when necessary. Please note I have spent many hours doing the math to attain these results. Happy Day, Dave O'H.

A: This battery is covered by a 3-year free replacement warranty. Per OPTIMA's website..."OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. will have no obligation under this limited warranty in the event the battery is damaged or destroyed as a result of any of the following events: improper installation; damage or destruction by abusive overcharging; collision; theft; improper maintenance or mishandling of the battery; natural forces such as wind, lightning, hail, etc.; any willful or negligent act; penetration, or opening of the battery case in any manner."

A: Yes this battery is appropriate for your F150. The vehicle does require a battery reset. There are videos online that show you how to perform the reset - it's quite simple and requires no tools.

2 years agoA: This particular model - YellowTop Group Size 35 - has top vents on the cover, it does not have vent ports to which a vent tube can be attached.

A: Any battery charger available at Canadian Tire would be compatible with this battery. We would recommend something with a charge rate of at least 3 amps but you could use a charger up to 30 amps. Really, then boils down to your preference for things like form, size, additional features, budget, brand, etc. Something like the NOCO 5 or 10, or MotoMaster Eliminator Precision Series 4A or 7A would be good choices.

A: Hello, unfortunately, this battery will not fit your 2004 Nissan Pathfinder and there is not an adapter plate or battery tray included with the battery to make it fit. This vehicle calls for a Group size 24 battery, you can consider 010-2470 MotoMaster Group size 24 Battery for a direct fit option.
