Terrible.

This was bought just prior to our hunting season and used to field dress 2 deer...the saw broke and was stuck open, the teeth on the saw struggled to cut through a wet paper bag, the knives were dull after 1 cut through the hide, and the gut hook was even more dull...I couldn't be paid to take another one of these "Pro Hunter Kits."

One would expect higher quality items from Canadian Tire than is received in this product. I bought mine in Feb 2016 when it was on a major sale, and even then this barely lives up to expectations. Cons: 1. the blades are very thin and are not full tang. I have no idea yet how much metal goes into the handle 2. the handles are made from a weak plastic, good knives today have glass fiber in the plastic for extra strength - these do not have that. Pros: 1. the sheath is okay. well, it's not quite good enough to be a true pro because the plastic inserts will quickly deteriorate if you use this kit for any cold weather hunting because they are made from a cheap plastic. This is not truly a hunter quality kit, but it still may be a decent option if you are on a very tight budget and you buy it when it is on sale, otherwise get one good Buck, Gerber, HuntShield, SOG, Uncle Henry, etc. (the Yukon brand knives are only worth buying when there is a sale)

I bougt it because it was onsale for half price, the build isnt special it was actually built cheap, im sure this is not going to last a season. I do not recommend this kit, look for another set to try..

Don't think i would spend the 70$ on this set but at the sale price its a good deal. The saw blade seems a bit cheaply made haven't had a chance to try it out.
