Designed for use with a Slide Hammer (not included), this tool is an essential addition to your automotive toolkit.

Weak and defective

Purchased to remove hub on Chrysler 200. not only did it not remove it, but threads are so fine that they strip or deform. I greased before use as is recommended but now screw does not go in nor out. Pure trash. Returned as defective to store. I don't recommend buying.

I had a seized axle and no penetrant oil or sludge hammer would work except wrecking the axle . This saved me after 2 days or prying to get the axle out of the hub. I rented another puller from the part desk which didnt work at all.

Q: Will this fit a Volkswagen 5x100 bolt pattern hub?

A: The hub puller should fit all common car and light truck hubs. My advice is to remove the axle nut and verify that the spline and hub aren't seized. However, if you're seeking this it's probably painfully obvious you're in this predicament. I purchased this for use on a Hyundai Accent. It was incapable of separating the axle and hub even with heating. Save your receipt, try it without abusing it. If it won't budge, you'll probably have to locate a salvaged spindle and axle.
