Works in a pinch

Needed to do rear brakes on my Hyundai Elantra and almost stripped the side I needed off on the second caliper. Works if you are in a pinch but won’t last

It works well, make sure you don't use an IMPACT or Hammer drill, I had my drill accidentally set to hammer not drill and I broke a peg off immediately. I was able to use another side thankfully but really should by a new one. It's sintered metal so will break off easily.

Garbage tool, didn't even work for a domestic vehicle (Ford escape) returned it for full refund and bought a great tool at princess auto for $80 that has tons of adapters and left and right turning spinners.

A: Theres only the 2 types of tools for this so its one or the other. Both are cheap. Google yourr car and you should be able to find it or buy both tools and dont mangle the packages and return the wrong one.

A: Thanks for your inquiry. It does appear that the tool would work on the 2016 Golf. Exception would be if it has an Electronic Parking Brake (wires going to the caliper). For this application, you would need a special tool that connects to the OBDII connector on the vehicle. Please visit your nearest Canadian Tire Store to review options for your vehicle.
