Very poor quality. Soft metal in each item in the set. Use once and throw it in the trash. I do not recommend. Junk. One year warranty, not lifetime as stated on the packaging.

A: The Punch & Chisel Set, 16-pcs (0251172) does not come in a case. The packaging on shelf holds each separate piece in one large plastic case, but there is no cover to this and it is recommended that customer hold the product in a separate container after purchase.

A: The Punch & Chisel Set, 16-pc gauge (0251172) allows you to replicate the profile of the striking end and angle of the chisel end when re-sharpening or redressing the point or the striking end of the punch or chisel. Chisels and Punches are machined to a modified parabolic curve. This design directs the striking force to the center of the tool head to allow slow metal displacement. The parabolic curve controls mushrooming to reduce chipping and splitting. Heads should be re-dressed to their original shape with hand files as necessary.
