Ideal for situations where bolt cutters and grinders won't fit, the splitter’s ⅞” split capacity allows you to break nuts, bolts, washers, and other fasteners with ease. Simply place the nut between the hardened steel claws, apply firm pressure, and twist. The tool’s simple, straight design works well in tight spaces while the claw-shaped tips grip rounded nuts. While not for use with power tools, this nut splitter excels at breaking nuts the old-fashioned way.

I wanted to cry

We thought this would save me and my buddies issue on our car (breaking a sieze nut on a strut mount). It literally broke on our 1st use so we ended up resorting to other methods. If working at home, invest into other heavy duty cutting applications.

I used it on a nut on an import vehicle exhaust. The cutting tip chipped on the first nut, it seemed like it was too hard. But Canadian Tire was getting was great at returning it and me getting a mastercraft one
