Strong magnetic tray for securing the bolts/nuts. Can also be used for "sweeping" small metal items you may have dropped on the carpet or something. Just be careful not to place any electronic devices close to it.

A: The magnets on mine are not removable. Well, not easily anyway. They are encased in plastic and look like they are are epoxied to the bottom of the tray.
